Nanotubes project highlighted on EPSRC's homepage

"The EPSRC have publicised on their homepage the innovative carbon nanotubes project, which is led by Professor Eleanor Campbell from the School of Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh. The link to EPSRC's website article can be found here.

"Nanotubes for Carbon Capture" is an 18-month, EPSRC-funded project, involving a number of interdisciplinary research activities, including input from the carbon capture group at the School of Engineering. The aim of the project is to determine the feasibility of developing a small scale carbon capture system (CCS) based on the adsorption properties of chemically functionalised carbon nanotubes (CNT). The project received funding of just over £201,000 and will run until April 2012.
